As the melodic tweedle pouring from the amplifier, the fatigue due to the long wait was dispelled. My tears were going to run down. They ‘re Amorphis! I’ve never thought of seeing them in person and even listened to their live show. Consistent compositions, epic guitar skill and sonorous voice. Amorphis never disappointed us. Since their 8th album, “Silent Water”, I started to know them and the heavy metal. If Hatebreed and Underoath are what lead me to “Core” (Well, I had a taste for All That Remains but they actually did not make me love metalcore or somewhat.); Amorphis and Alestorm are what guide me to “Metal”. The songs: Silent Water, Her Alone, Black River, My Sun and Battle For Light are all my favorite of Amorphis, while some of them are not title songs or there hit songs, so it was pity they did not perform in the show. (Except Battle For Light and Silent Water)
In the concert, I was astonished that Tomi Joutson’s voice is much more powerful than I conceived. In the CD track, he used death vocals as well as clean vocals, and the clean vocals sounded jolly gentle. Nonetheless, in the live, his voice in clean vocals was still forceful and strong. Raise my devil horns even though that’s evil! Headbanging, yelling, hailing, closing my eyes to enjoy are all I could do.

The first song is Battle for Light, I blinking love this song and it’s prelusion just touching… Well, I always awaited songs like Silent Water or from this album but they just perform some hard tracks : (

The next and last band was Children Of Bodom, and many came for them so the atmosphere in former was a little weak. But never mind, it was still a fabulous night. Although I am not so acquaint with these guys, yet can figure out “In Your Face” and “Angel’s Don’t Kill” are my favorite. Especially “In Your Face” really brought me to the peak. The exquisite preclusion and evil atmosphere were arranged very well. Their guitar solo was blinking, blinking awesome. Let alone the drumbeats, these were only next to metalcore.

Every audience was got into climax. We shouted by rhythm, acclaiming the band and had interesting interactions with them. Some foreign guys just went insane. One of them I’ve saw in front of MRT was play surfing. (In fact, I envied this guy, LOL) And even, he took off and swung his shirt; then raise devil horns. By the way, Alexi Laiho continued cursing at every stuff. Still remember he said that, we went to fucking Japan… fucking Taipei… And brabrabra fuck… All fuck word was in the show and what he said. In the hiatus between the songs, it was quite tranquil and one guy yelling “Fuck You “made everyone crack up.

That was really a wonderful show and got my money worth inclusive of meeting a nice metalhead. But to be frank, the atmosphere in COB was much better than Amorphis. Well, without my love for them, I think COB was much better. In the end, I still hope more “Core” band to perform in Taiwan and I love “the genuine metal” more.
Ps. I have to complain some crap. First, I forgot to bring the camera and that was just shit. It made me take some silly and murky fuck. Also, in front of me and behind the fence, a fucking couple just don’t know what metal is, showing silly I love you gesture. And that man is really jerk, his handbanging was just lame and hurt my eyes a lot. If I see these cunts again, I will kill myself!
